Three Tata Coffee pepper nurseries accredited by DASD

Tata Coffee has always believed in striving hard to achieve best quality for all its products and processes. Recently, a rigorous assessment was carried out on three of its modern pepper nurseries by the Directorate of Arecanut and Spices Development (DASD), Calicut. A team of 6 scientists from DASD visited the nurseries at Cannoncadoo Estate, Yemmigoondi Estate, and Karadibetta Estate and certified the pepper plants to be of good quality as per the norms established by the Government of India. The details of the number of plants available for sale and their varietal characteristics will be published on the DASD website. Pepper growers can buy good quality planting material from our estates located at Coorg, Hassan, Chikmagalur and Anamallais. All three nurseries have been accredited to sell pepper planting material to planters across India for next two years. The organization will also list Tata Coffee as the certified seller of pepper plants.
